Trinity Health Georgia, Inc.

Trinity Health Georgia, Inc. (“THG”) was formed in 2022 to serve as the regional parent corporation of existing hospitals and other entities that are part of the national Trinity Health Corporation. As of March 1, 2022, THG became the parent of various legal entities in northeast Georgia. These entities own and include three hospitals: St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, and St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia. THG is also the parent corporation of Highland Hills Village in Athens, which provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care services, and St. Mary’s Medical Group, Inc., which employs physicians and other health care providers to serve the residents of the area. Additional entities include two foundations and health care-related services, such as home health and hospice services.

THG is operated for the support and benefit of its subsidiary organizations by serving as the common parent of the legal entities that own and operate these healthcare facilities and provide healthcare services. THG will register for the assumed name of St. Mary’s Heath Care System, Inc. THG conducts certain administrative, management, governance, coordination, and oversight responsibilities for the overall activities and operations of its subsidiaries.

At all times, THG will have and maintain a Catholic identity and will operate consistently with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services, as amended from time to time, and with the teachings of the Catholic Church, including guiding principles established by its religious sponsor.
